WE DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We did it! With 2 days to go before the great Pelotonia ride we raised -- get this -- $6,000 for the James Cancer Hospital -- $6,000!!!! How cool is that!

To everyone -- thank you so much -- this is just incredible. $6,000 -- I can't believe it -- we raised $6,000.

I know that in the grand scheme of things -- with billions needed for research and treatment -- it doesn't seem grand. But we start locally. We contribute to the James being one of the best hospitals in the state, then the region, then the world.

But more importantly -- we stand together, united and strong, against a disease that is threatening to become the leading cause of death WORLDWIDE. By each of us contributing just a bit, we combine together to contribute a whole lot.

And as important -- by our actions we tell our family, our friends, our community, our doctors, the drug companies, our leaders, the government -- that we are not happy with the prospect of cancer becoming more and more prevelent. We will not stand by and do nothing. We will fight back -- and as they take notice they will join the fight.

And together we can do only one thing. Succeed.
