I remember Dale, Mark, Rona and Michael, especially Sue's close relationship with Rona but they were a bit older so didn't really "hang out" with them.
Debbie and Cindy's kids got to hang out a bit as cousins. Even though Cindy lived a bit away they still got to grow up as "cousins" as Cindy traveled home frequently. And the age group split pretty well with Sue's boys -- so more cousins!
So everyone had cousins to grow up with. I must say I'm a bit envious of Beth and Amy's kids -- how close they are, how much time they get to spend together. Something about growing up together seems like it would build lifetime bonds. So many shared experiences, laughs, tears. How fun to have so many cousins right around the corner.
We've all grown up, some moved away. All of Uncle Ronnies kids moved away -- and then Uncle Ronnie and Aunt Nancy did as well. Short of seeing Rona this summer I'm not sure when any of us have seen them?
Do you remember Michael, Dale, Rona, and Mark? Here's some pictures to help you remember our cousins. Lifetime bonds change, memories remain -- and pictures always help!

THANKS for the memories - this was great. I remember those guys:). Beth and Amy got short changed on close cousins also - but as everyone got older, the gap closed up and now they can enjoy fellowship with the youngsters. Love our families!! Let's stay close always.
ReplyDeleteJudy and I are the closest in age. We share the same birthday, just a year apart. As you, I saw her mostly when we went to Florida ~ and the stops in TN. I do remember Uncle Ronnie's kids. I remember Dale giving me rides on his motorcycle and Mark and I paled around. Mostly I remember the teasing because they were always getting phone calls meant for me . . . Thanks for the pictures - it's nice to remember. . .
ReplyDeleteWe'll stay close always! It will evolve, change -- but is will ALWAYS be close!
