Nora the CATcerto

Alex the Cat is a pretty talented cat. After all she did dial 911 when she was home alone and a bit peeved about that. She sings on occasion and dances when she is chasing her tail. She can sprint from the litterbox to her window bed after a particularly satisfying bowel movement.

But alas, she is no concert pianist like Nora. Enjoy!

Nora the Cat:

The CATcerto is the current project of the lithuanian conductor, composer and artist Mindaugas Piečaitis. The world premiere was performed by Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra in the Klaipėda Concert Hall in Klaipėda (Lithuania) on 5th June, 2009. It gained recognition in the international media, a.o. the BBC, Lithuanian TV, Baltic TV and the First Baltic Chanel (russian).

Mindaugas Piečaitis composed and directed the Catcerto for Nora The Piano Cat™ and orchestra, where Nora, the soloist, was brought in via video.

    I have a few grandkids that play that well:)- think we could get Alex and Jake together to perform?

    HaHa! So who is the musical one (oh that's right -- most of us can't sing!)? Maybe we can videotape Alex and Jake and the grandbabies and then Beth can splice it together with her piano playing and we'll be a sensation!
    Little bummed I didn't get a response out of Joe on the whole bowel movement comment!
