(Backup) Au revoir Paris

Writing this at 2:30 am in the Atlanta airport - oh wait the time changed its only 8:30 - my contacts and body agree with 2:30 better!

A leisurely morning of packing, petite dejeuner, checking out of hotel, shuttle across Paris to Charles de Gaulle

The aeroport  set up is much different - not good not bad just different. So a little bit of stress making sure you get where you should be. In the end it's actually intuitive and security was smooth - last time they took and lost my passport!

Was serenaded in the airport - it's neat that flyers stop and play!

I did catch a quick glimpse of the Tour Eiffel I believe at one point!

So I decided to see the Atlanta experience as if I wasn't from the USA. Lots of staff helping but no one bilingual (heard several loudspeaker calls for interpreters) and as is usual everywhere some were really nice, some not so. But I'll admit the method was rather confusing in my native language so can't imagine if you didn't speak a fair bit of English. So stressful on both sides of the pond!  The same end result but each side has different customs and methods to get us safe and secure on and off planes!

Well no more Orangina, Angelina's, pain au chocolat. Tomorrow it's back to . . . Wait I don't have to go to work!  Yipee!

And a quick shot of LO my neighbor sent - I think it looks like she misses me don't you think?!

Apparently at first she didn't want to leave my house (probably in case I came back!) but is enjoying air conditioning!  Which is funny because her cats for the previous 2 weeks kept coming into my house when I watched them!  Yea - she looks like she misses me!
