You by now are familiar with my ramblings, especially about cycling. I continue to be amazed and how beautiful the United States are. I've been so blessed to be able to travel, both in the states and abroad, and even got to bring my bicycle to Europe last year. And as much as I love Europe -- there are still many, many places in the States I hope to explore by bicycle, taking pictures all the way.
One of my favorite places to ride (not withstanding the constant hills, climbs and torture) is in the Lexington/Georgetown area of Kentucky. The well kept, expansive horse ranches take up acre after acre, with little population (not counting the horses) so very few cars to hog up the road.
Leading to many empty, single lane, winding roads. Through the heart of horse county during foaling season. Absolutely beautiful.
