At least one incident per day

So apparently we have to have at least one type of incident a day.

Wrong passes, tours sold out, etc etc - today we're heading home and for the second time the Metro just sits in station. Then a message comes on but we can't hear it and no one moves. Comes on again - still can't hear it so no chance of translating. But this time most of the train moves to get off the train, then head to the map. Aha. Our cue to follow closely and act like we know what we're doing. A quick review and we map out an alternate way home - necessitating taking three trains. So just when we thought we'd have a day without too many steps we go up and down getting to each of the different stations. All in the aim to return healthier, more fit individuals!  And sigh we were off about 4,000 steps today!  Apparently museums take a lot of walking

When it rains we are outside walking. When it's not or the sun shines we are either in a cafe or a museum. Sigh the luck of the Chorman's. But we've noticed that whatever we do groups of (most likely terrified and gullible tourists) follow. When we move to the window of the Louvre to take a picture suddenly people all show up. When we move down the line to a different train car everyone seems to follow. Magnetic personalities or the fact we showered, not sure

Wonderful day. We saw 5 embassy's (CANADA, Iran, Korea, Romania, USA), several upscale shops, and a great market.  We also found GEORGE Washington, Ben Franklin, Thomas Edison and others so Sam can go back to university and claim he studied American History while abroad

Huge Yams. Or are they sweet potatoes?

The Market was exquisite with fresh food and shops!  Outside a bit covered from the rain!

We ate well!  We're having great luck finding lovely cafes and food!  From Breakfast overlooking Tour Eiffel . . .

To a wonderful meal on a market street - Saumon tartar over a bed of beets (Sam had penne - boring) and a wonderful glass of wine . . .

Followed by some street food - a Nutella and banana crepe!

We continued our museum odyssey with a trip to MOMA

Sam studying some modern art!

And we shopped!  And hey everyone bought at least one thing.  Debbie bought at least two!  Haha!

And we got to explore the city again at night and finally saw the light show on the Tour!

I don't know, kind of boring I guess!
